Well I really put your product to the test with this extreme case of engine failure. I own a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado one ton dually 4x4 with a 6.5 Turbo Diesel. These high compression engines are known for their bad cooling design which can cause overheating and result in blown head gaskets, cracked heads, or worse cracked block. I don't know which issue I had but I was getting oil in the water/coolant and tons of white smoke pouring out of the exhaust at 154,000 miles (possible cracked block around the number 8 cylinder based on tests). I installed your product exactly as the directions stated and just like that within 20 to 30 minutes no more white smoke, within 1 hour no more oil in the water! WOW! now it is many thousands of miles later and I am towing more than 10,000lbs and this high compression turbo diesel is still going strong!! I used your product in my 1993 Explorer with over 212k miles. Water was getting into the oil. I'm not sure if it was a blown gasket or a cracked head. Guys, I originally purchased Steel Seal when I was away from home for my 1992 Chrysler LeBaron. It worked wonderfully but unfortunately needed a second application and you guys honored your guarantee and sent me a new supply....well, my son has been driving it and told me he has to keep checking and adding water again. Sure enough, I'm seeing some water in the exhaust. I'm sure I can find the receipt somewhere and I would have to dig through storage. Its a 6 cyl, 3.0 ltr engine. It probably has been a couple of years. Maybe the third time's a charm? Thanks alot and I have told everyone I work with and my friends about this product. I'm a mechanical engineer so they listen! Have a 1999 olds bravada 4.3 water in oil. The olds belongs to a friend of mine & I use your produced on one of my Limousine 4yrs ago engine over heated & have water coming out of exhaust pipe found 3 dead cylinders on right bank followed you inst. & I end up puting 25,000 miles & trade it in & it went to CA. I put 32oz of Steel Seal head gasket sealer per instruction into my 1984 cad coupe deville last Friday 01/29/10. Heater popped right on drove it sat & sun and had it leak tested at shop Monday. My mechanic said no loss of pressure, changed oil and filter. Car runs like new!! Will keep you posted. So far I'm very happy with your product. Thank You!!

Brian - I'm happy to report after a thorough flushing of my truck cooling system, your product has come through as advertised. No more smoking or burning of antifreeze. I bought some of you Steelseal about a year ago for a 4 clyinder 1998 Camry. The steel seal worked  great.

I had a blown head gasket on a 1993 Toyota Landcruiser. The head gasket had been replaced 2 yrs. ago, but after 12000 miles the repaired gasket went bad again. I was told to repair the gasket again would be about $2,000 and since there was so many miles on the car it would not be worth it due to other damage that might be found. I was ready to donate the vehicle and have someone tow it away. I found Steel Seal on the internet and poured it in as per the directions. The car nows runs perfectly. I purchased your product for a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am. It’s worked for over 9 months.

I bought a bottle for my 2005 nissan sentra (known to blow head gaskets) and followed the instructions. WORKED LIKE A CHARM. My question now is, how many miles approx do you estimate before another treatment will be necessary. I DID NOT drain the coolant as instructed. Should I carry an extra bottle with me just in case? I just wanted to say that I had my mechanic remove the spark plug from the #3 cylinder during the application.  It's only been a month, but the check engine light is off and the van seems to be running fine.  It hasn't burned any coolant yet.  The miracle product has worked so far.

Hi, I bought your product and I'm amazed with the results. My wifes van has run great since I used your product.

Purchased a 99 Taurus from a neighbor for my daughter for $500 knowing the transmission was bad. I replaced the tranny which entailed dropping the frame in the front and disconnecting the front drive and steering. 3 weeks later I am ready to drive it, and while test driving I found the engine overheating and no heat coming from the heater my worst fear was realized when topping off the radiator white smoke appeared I knew immediatly that the head gasket was a goner. I had just about resigned myself to the fact that I was into and engine rebuild or at least a swap when I stumbled upon your ad on the web. I am a skeptic when it comes to quick remedies but I figured what the heck I will only be out 60 bucks if it didn't work. I drained the engine oil and put in new cleaned the filter and started the car up. I followed the directions and raked leaves while the car was running. At first I was keeping the bugs away and then the smoke and steam started to subside and after an hour I shut it down and let it cool, changed the oil and filter again and started it up. Have put 500 miles on that car with no problem.  

It was a 99 Seville, we couldn't figure out what was wrong with it.  Replaced thermostat, radiator, etc.  Nothing fixed it.  Added all sorts stuff to the engine.   

The overheating was sporatic, would go up and down.  Couldn't find the signs of blown head gasket, but we figured that's all it could be.  Usually, it would have to be driven for twenty minutes before it would overheat.  

We put Steel Seal in there yesterday, followed the directions to the letter.  We drove it around for hours last night.  IT'S NOT OVERHEATING.

So far, so good. Did the Steel Seal installation yesterday, and drove my 1994 Ford Explorer XLT,270,000 miles, with the 4.0 6-Cylinder engine approx 225 miles today with nary a problem. Used Steel Seal on my 94 Honda Civic when I was told I had a blown gasket and a cracked head. The next day I drove 28 straight hours from Bangor, Maine to New Orleans. Brian,you ask me to keep you updated...Things are great...I thought I would take the time to tell you my story...I am a 57 year old grandmother living in montana and I don't know if I failed to put enough antifreeze in my car or what... but it started over heating really bad and the shop I took it to said I had a blown head gasket and wanted 900.00 to fix it... WOW...WITH THANKSGIVING & CHRISTMAS coming up... I just didn't have the money... So I went to the local parts dealer and bought what they said would work...but when I got home I went on line and google my problem and steel seal came up and it sounded so much better and I order it...I didn't follow the directions about taking out the thermostat...I just open the radiator cap poured the steel seal and started the car...there was water and steam coming out of my tail pipe for 13 minutes then the water stop and 10 minutes later the steam stopped...I've been driving the car every since with not one problem...I did have new spark plugs put in and one of the PLUGS was really bad...the shop said that must had been the spot where the head gasket was leaking...I tell everyone about steel seal and am vERY VERY please with steel seal...THANK YOU SO...I hope everyone hears about it...

I am a retired submariner. I am now a school bus mechanic for 8 years. I bought my son a 1999 Cadillac Deville to get to college, a 125 mile trip. I didn’t know at the time about northstar head gasket problems and overheating problems. After a new water pump and thermostat, a $500 dealer job, it still overheated and over pressurized my radiator to the point the tanks blew up. I replaced the radiator and pressure cap. The dealer said I must have a blown head gasket. I bought a leak down tester and did not find any bad head gasket, No coolant was in my cylinders. I then pressure tested the cooling system. Pressure was fine until the engine warmed up, then it went to 0. that showed me that there must be a cracked head that only leaks when warm and under stress. Being a Submariner/Mechanic I know that clogged pipes are bad news making filler type repairs a poor choice. The cost of replacing the head was totally out. I could buy another car for that price. It was too big a job to do it myself. The dealers tell me it is not worth the trouble due to head bolts stripping and they will not take the job. After extensive research including the BBB and contact with your technical department I tried your product. It was very easy to use. It fixed my problem in less than an hour. I let it run though for a full hour as per instructions. After letting is cool off overnight, it only needed a half gallon of coolant to refill. My son has been driving ever since (over 6 months). He graduated from college the other day. I give this product 5 stars. Anyone else with a Northstar problem this product is the way to go.

I purchased Steel Seal for my 1999 Cadillac with Northstar engine in November 2006 and it had been going along fine. However, water started getting into the oil again so I am wondering if I can put in more Steel Seal again?

To my amazement, Steel Seal worked! I guess it needed a couple more days of driving to circulate more but it worked! There is no more sickly sweet smelling exhaust and car starts with no hesitation. We confirmed it by using an Engine Block Leak Tester and it passed.

GREAT PRODUCT ! I tried a different product first that cost more money and required alot more preparation and it didn't work. Then I purchased Steel Seal after watching your video. Needless to say I was skeptical because of my experience with the other product I purchased. My engine is a 1962 Hurricane 4 cylinder flathead in my CJ5 Jeep and I was resolved that I would probably need a new head gasket or even worst a new engine do to a possible cracked block. Great product!! I used your product on my 1997 Ford F150 which blew a head gasket at 242,165 miles. I installed Steel Seal on 6/26; in less than 3 minutes my engine stopped knocking,and in 23 minutes (just like the video)it stopped smoking. Unbelievable how well it works.When my firebird had a blown head gasket, it was so easy to follow the steps, for "STEEL SEAL" and it works great. My friend used it on a cracked block,when racing a Palm Beach Raceway, and it worked in his Race Car, in which revs to 1200 Hp. with the new SUPERCHARGER that he just installed. Thanks a million, or at least $900.00 worth, that was the estimate for a blown head gasket repair job from my local mechanic. After spending over $600.00 on a water pump, timing belt kit and labor, now I find out I have a blown head gasket. I was about to give up, but Steel Seal saved my 1998 Mazda 626 (221,000+ miles). Hello, I used Steel Seal to repair a minor head gasket leak. It has been 3 months now and all is well. If I flush the cooling system and replace the antifreeze will this undo the repaired leak? Thanks 

This is a miracle repair. I used Steel Seal in a 2002 Dodge Durango after having the motor diagnosed with a blown head gasket. It was well worth the money I paid to be back on the road in 1 hour. It was simple and unbelievable at how well it worked. So far, I've driven the vehicle for a week and the temperature has never went above half way. I have told everybody that will listen what a good product this is and will recommend to anyone with a blown head gasket. I was leary, but am very satisfied with the results.

The mechanic who installed the large bottle called me to tell me it still blew white smoke. "Do you want me to put the small bottle in" he asked. My immediate answer was "Yes!" The next call from him was to report the car was ready to be picked up. Since I am unable to drive due to physical problems (89 years) so my wife (86 years) does all of that chore - she is antsy - heh, heh. But since I don't want her out in the car alone anyhow this works out fine. You have a product there that is well worth the price and as far as I am conserned it is a no brainer to get it! It is a great product as the new head gasket was gong to cost me $1000 to get a replacement. This old Ford isn't worth the money, even if I had it! I have never seen anything like this product. I have worked in a G M dealership for over 40 years and if I hadn’t seen it work in my own vehicle I would not believe it. I have a gm mini van with a 3400 eng and they are notorious for bad head gaskets. It sealed up the eng within about 25 minutes AMAZING. In feb. 09 my 1998 outback overheated. I took it to Firestone, they told me I had a blown head gasket!!. I then had my car towed to a shop that worked on subaru. They told me the same thing. I got prices from 1750.00 to 2400.00. My dear mother told me she would pay for it, but I couldn't do it. I found your web site and many others but yours sounded the best. I ordered Steel Seal, put it in and 45 minutes later I had my car back and running. Its been 6 weeks 2500+ miles 1 oil change and my car is running great!.
